Denver Photography – Legs

A thin layer of clouds softens the sun like a giant soft-box.

Professional photographers in Denver (like me), sometimes need to just get out and shoot … they need to find inspiration – do what’s called street photography.

Yes, there is something magical about a nicely shaped pair of legs.  And what allows skin to look it’s best, is superb lighting.  In this case, the light source was an overcast sky towards the end of the day.

Professional photography clients often tell me they’re hoping for a sunny bright afternoon for our professional photo-shoot in Denver.  But I want just the reverse.  People photography in Denver or anywhere is best done on a slightly overcast day.  If the day is too grey, the light becomes boring.  And the darkness can cause shadows without details.  But a thin layer of clouds softens the sun like a giant soft-box.  And it’s left to the photographer to see it and capture it.
